POINTERS ON GOOD NUTRITION AND WEIGHT LOSS
- Eat on a regular schedule throughout the day to stimulate physical activity and metabolism.
- Drink a glass of water before every meal as it increases health and suppresses appetite. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water or fluid a day.
- Take Factor4 Weight Control™ power shakes, snacks, smoothies, desserts and meal replacements to suppress appetite and convert fat into muscle mass, which burns ~4 times the calories of fat tissue.
- Eat plenty of raw vegetables. Fiber is good for binding fat, filling your stomach and cleansing your colon.
- Eat a variety of foods and an abundance of colored fruits and vegetables.
- Lower your sugar intake 50-75% by cutting out soft drinks and colas.
- Avoid processed foods at all costs, including butter, margarine and commercial snacks, including cookies, cakes and pies. Combine fruits and Factor4 for breakfast options and delicious desserts.
- Avoid saturated fat in cooking and salad oils. Use olive oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil and cottonseed oil, which are enriched in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
- Avoid salted foods and salt shakers (pepper is OK).
- Decrease starchy foods (bread, potatoes, pasta, rice and pizza) by 50-75%. Make up the difference with superfoods, including vegetables, fruits and nuts, which contain powerful phytonutrients.
- If you drink alcoholic beverages, do so in moderation. Alcohol is high in calories and low in nutrients. Better still, replace alcoholic beverages with Factor4 Power Shakes.
