Why can’t I just drink protein shakes?

Answer:

Protein shakes, containing Whey, Casein, Soy or Egg White protein, have proven to be healthy food supplements.  However, compared to Factor4 Weight Control™, which contains Power Amino Acids™ as well as Health-Plus Proteins™, they are limited as follows:

  • First, these proteins require, on average, 2 to 8 hours of digestion in the stomach before their amino acids can be absorbed into the body.  This necessarily delays the beneficial effects of these amino acids.  In contrast, Power Amino Acids™ do not require digestion and are absorbed into the body within 5 to 15 minutes of ingestion.  Thus, while Power Amino Acids™ lead to rapid appetite suppression, protein drinks do not.
  • Second, protein drinks are enriched in negative-charged proteins that build muscle mass.  They are deficient in positive-charged proteins that supercharge health and lead to weight loss.  Drinking these protein shakes lead to excessive weight gain unless intense exercise routines are employed.
